AXSMarine was created in June 2000 and today has over 300 clients for its three specialized product lines: AXSDry, AXSTanker and AXS-Alphaliner. New modules and upgrades to these existing products are constantly being developed and released by AXSMarine's technical staff, as well as new products and services that will continue to respond to the needs of our clients. AXSMarine began with the financial support of two of the most important players in the maritime freight-shipping world: Barry Rogliano Salles and Louis-Dreyfus Armateurs. Oldendorff Carriers, the largest bulk shipowner in Germany and one of Europe's leading drycargo operators, is one of our company's shareholders today. Our highly accurate distance tables were initially developed with the support of the Centre for Applied Mathematics of the prestigious Ecole des Mines engineering school in Paris. Today, with several successful rounds of financing, a strong base of shareholders and a long list of loyal, satisfied customers, our 11-person company has moved beyond "start-up" status to confirm itself as the industry's "must-have" set of member-driven web-based tools. Fabrice Demichel, CEO of AXSMarine, speaks of the company's ambitions: "AXSMarine is in a great place today. Thanks to the recognized quality of our products and services, we're expanding our client base. Our existing lines are continuously being improved - we are regularly adding new features and functions. We're also using our deep understanding of this market to further add value, by developing new products and services that respond to even more completely to the needs of the various players in the maritime freight shipping world." |
